Life and Social

Life

is full of both joys and misery. The ups and downs of life are what they’re called. Without them, life is just a never-ending war that can be won at any time. To overcome one’s grief, it is necessary to find happiness in one’s life. Most of us have many problems in our life. The solution to these problems lies not in searching for the solution but in understanding to the actual content of the problem. We all are seeking happiness at different levels; we want permanency, security, someone to take us to other side, to a permanent state of bliss. In search of happiness in our life, we are moving from one object to another, one avenue to another and never satisfied. Consciously or unconsciously, we are pursuing and searching for happiness and peace of mind. We have made searching as inevitable as breathing, and end up saying life has no meaning if we do not seek desired outcome. So we are everlastingly pursuing, looking for something at different levels. Life  is a person’s choices and preferences outside of work that define personal life, including one’s choice of hobbies, cultural interests, manner of dress, mate, friends, and so on. In particular, what activities one engages in during leisure-time defines a person’s personal life.

Social Life

on the other hand, as humans, is also essential to every aspect of our life. Research shows that having a strong network of support or strong community bonds fosters both emotional and physical health and is an important component of human life.  Socialization is critical both to individuals and to the society in which they live. As individuals, social interaction provides us the means by which we gradually become able to see ourselves through the eyes of others, and how we learn, who we are, and how we fit into the larger world.

A healthy social life is most concern area. Being your true self at all times, engaging with people in your community, treating others with respect, maintaining and building strong relationships with friends and creating healthy boundaries. These will help in communication, trust and conflict management. Social life is structured along the dimensions of time and space. Specific social activities take place at specific times, and time is divided into periods that are connected with the rhythms of social life—the routines of the day, the month, and the year.
